Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the largest distribution centers in the United States, and much of what leaves it for Mexico crosses at Laredo, at the end of I-35. Eilan Trade Solutions is the customs broker that receives that freight at the border: one team clears the U.S. export and the Mexican import.

What we handle for a Dallas shipper

If you sell delivered in Mexico

Many Dallas-area suppliers sell delivered to their Mexican customer and have no Mexican company to act as the importer. We can take care of the Mexican import so you deliver without opening a subsidiary. See importer of record service.

Full truckload or consolidated

You do not need a full truck. We receive pallets and partial shipments in Laredo and cross them consolidated. See consolidated freight to Mexico through Laredo. Hazardous or oversize freight goes through the Colombia bridge.

Frequently asked questions

Can my Dallas carrier deliver straight into Mexico?

Some do with a Mexican partner; many deliver in Laredo and the freight crosses on another truck. Either way the customs clearance happens at the border, and that is the part we prepare.

How early should I send the documents?

Ideally when the shipment is confirmed, before the truck loads. Errors are then fixed at a desk and not at the bridge.

Do you work with my freight forwarder or carrier?

Yes. You or your carrier move the freight; we clear it on both sides and, when needed, transload it in Laredo.
