Want to sell or ship into Mexico but don’t have a Mexican importer registry (padrón de importadores)? With our own comercializadora, Eilan imports the goods on your behalf and delivers them to your customer or plant in Mexico. You don’t need a Mexican tax ID or months of paperwork to get started.

Who it’s for

How it works

  1. Send us the commercial invoice, packing list and final destination.
  2. We classify the goods and confirm duties, permits and total landed cost in writing before anything moves.
  3. Our comercializadora imports and clears the freight at Nuevo Laredo, or at the Mexican port or airport you use.
  4. We deliver to destination with the complete customs file.

FAQ

Do I need to register in Mexico’s importer registry?

No. The comercializadora imports under its own registry. If you later want to import in your own name, we can help you register.

Which Mexican customs offices does it cover?

Mainly Nuevo Laredo and Colombia, plus the ports and airports where we clear: Manzanillo, Veracruz, Altamira, Lázaro Cárdenas, Monterrey and Mexico City Airport (MEX).

Are imports and exports through the comercializadora tax deductible in Mexico?

Yes. Import and export operations handled through our comercializadora are properly documented for Mexican tax and accounting purposes. Running the customs operation through the comercializadora does not, by itself, prevent the transaction from being deductible; the operation must, of course, meet the applicable Mexican tax, customs and documentation requirements.

We structure the operation and provide the corresponding documentation so your accounting team has the supporting records it needs. If you have a specific tax or accounting requirement, let us know before the shipment and we will coordinate the documentation.
