Initial Setup

Before scheduling the first shipment, the complete legal file has to be in place:

  • Customs Broker Authorization (Encargo Conferido): Electronic authorisation in the SAT portal for Agencia Aduanal Eilan.
  • Legal Documents: Articles of Incorporation, Power of Attorney, and Tax Status Certificate (RFC).
  • Value Declaration (Manifestación de Valor): Electronic declaration of the value of the goods, under oath.

Requirements for Each Shipment

For clearance within 24 to 48 hours, every shipment should include:

  • Commercial Invoice (CFDI/Invoice): With Incoterms 2020, detailed description and unit values.
  • Carta Porte 3.0: Exact transport and cargo data (SAT codes) for legal transit.
  • NOM Compliance: Labeling verification for consumer products before crossing.

U.S. Export (EEI)

For any shipment valued over $2,500 USD per commodity, Eilan Trade will file the Electronic Export Information (EEI) via AESDirect, ensuring compliance with the U.S. Census Bureau.
