Nuevo Laredo is Mexico’s busiest customs house and, together with Laredo, Texas, the highest-value land crossing in North America. Eilan clears on both sides of the bridge: we file the pedimento in Mexico and the U.S. entry on the same shipment, with one file and one team. Clearing shipments since 1994.

Importing and exporting through Laredo and Nuevo Laredo

Most commercial freight crosses the World Trade Bridge (Puente III), and the Colombia-Solidarity Bridge is used when traffic or hours require it. We handle both directions: Mexican finished goods moving to the United States, and machinery, raw materials, components and U.S. goods moving to plants in Mexico.

What we do at the crossing

Why one team on both sides

The usual setup is a customs broker in Mexico, another in the United States and a carrier in between. Every handoff is a place where data gets re-keyed, goods get classified again and a day gets lost. When the same team files the pedimento and the entry, classification and value match on both sides, and if there is a customs inspection or a review at the bridge, it is handled by the people who filed the document, not a third party.

Capacity in Laredo

Our main operation is in Laredo, Texas, with offices and 200,000 sq ft of warehouse capacity, plus an office in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. We can receive, consolidate and store goods and release them to your plant as you need them, including bonded warehousing and hazmat handling. We answer email 24/7.

Frequently asked questions

Can you clear both sides of the same shipment?

Yes. That is the difference: we file the Mexican pedimento and the U.S. entry on the same shipment, with one reference number and one contact.

What do I need to import into Mexico?

Usually: registration with Mexico’s tax authority (SAT) with an RFC and e.firma, enrollment in the importer registry and in the sector registry when the product requires it, a power of attorney for the customs broker (encargo conferido), invoice and packing list, and any permit or NOM that applies to the product. See the full requirements to import into Mexico.

Do you work with IMMEX companies?

Yes. We handle temporary imports of machinery, raw materials and components, exports of finished goods, and virtual transfers between IMMEX companies.

Can I start with a single shipment?

Yes. You don’t need to move your whole operation. Pick one shipment or one lane, see how we work and decide from there.
