Seeds for planting have additional requirements. U.S. grain can normally be imported with USMCA preferential treatment if it qualifies as originating and has the certification of origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Main requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Importer registry.<\/li>\n\n<li>International phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin.<\/li>\n\n<li>Requirements from SENASICA\u2019s phytosanitary import requirements database (MCRFI); if the product or origin is not listed, they are requested through procedure SENASICA-02-022.<\/li>\n\n<li>Phytosanitary Import Certificate, filed through VUCEM and issued at the OISA after inspection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to check<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seeds for planting: requirements differ from grain for consumption.
